Dante was born in my house, into my hands, from one of the most difficult whelpings that I have ever attended. Always healthy and vigorous, he seems to have suffered little from the trauma of his birth. Finishing with three majors before his second birthday, he sailed through his conformation trials with few problems. His easy gait and quiet, gentle nature made him a natural for the show ring. Nothing ever seemed to bother him as he remained totally focused on his handler and the job at hand. He is as easy a dog to show as any that I have ever taken into the ring.

Dante was sired by DC Svora’s Sentinel, SC, FCh (MBISS CH Chataqua’s Valimir of Kyrov, SC, ROMX-C x CH Babotjka's Fantaziya, SC, ROMX-C) out of Hound Hollow’s Dream Goddess (JP BIS AM/JP CH Majenkir Impressive, ROMX-C x CH Hound Hollow's Independence). Each of these outstanding animals made their own contribution to what Dante is. That he inherited his mother’s sweet and loving temperament is the best part of all.

As I write this, just after Dante’s second birthday, I look forward to a very bright future for him as a conformation special and as a future sire. While his pedigree is an outcross, each of the lines that come down to him have many virtues in common, which are sweetly expressed in him. I expect his get will continue to display these virtues in abundance.
