I couldn't have asked for a better, more loyal
companion than the one I got when Ruby came into my life. She has
such a happy, sweet and loving spirit with a little clown thrown in
for good measure. We have a little over 80 rural acres with woods
and fields, three creeks and a pond where we take long walks and I
practice a bit of nature photography usually at least 5 days a week.
While still a pup Ruby stayed on lead but was allowed off for ever
increasing periods since she loved so well to play in the water and
romp in the creeks and along the pond edge. These days all I have to
do is put on my boots and pick up my camera and Ruby is rushing to
the door, rearing and ready to go. Ruby loves getting her exercise
but spends the better part of her time indoors, comfortably lounging
on the couch or bed. She also enjoys special relationships with my
great-aunt Eva, who lives with us, and my abyssinian kitty cat Mo.
Mo has previously lived with three borzoi and even at over ten years
old knew just how to teach a young rambunctious pup how to act -
namely to snuggle, snooze and don't play too rough! and Ruby's
infectious borzoi grin never fails to greet whenever her people have
been away. Such a special joy to have around. She lightens my days
